A son asked his father, "Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me? "
The father, who despite having a heart condition, said yes. They went on to complete the marathon together.
They joined other marathons as well, and the father never refused the son.
One day, the son asked the father, "Dad let's join the ironman together. "
To which, his father agreed to as well. For those who do not know,
the Ironman is the toughest triathlon ever.
The race encompasses 3 endurance events, a 2.4mile ocean swim, 112 mile bike ride, and a 26.2 mile marathon along the coast of the Big Island.
Father and son went on to complete the race together.

Some food for thought.
If the handicapped can make such a difference in the lives of others around him, how much more we who have normal bodily functions? How much more we who have Christ the hope of glory?
It really makes me wonder, who is the true handicapped?
